The Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP) is the project that all third year students at WPI complete in collaboration with outside organization's to solve issues that involves the intersection of science, technology, and society. Our project assisted the American Chamber of Commerce Romania in making resources more accessible to startup companies. Due to the Ukrainian and Russian political crisis, our project was completed remotely from Worcester, MA. The United States has a well developed startup community, effectively creating networking opportunities and providing resources. Our projected aimed to understand the challenges that Romanian startups face and how to implement strategies used in the United States to assist the growth of the Romanian Startup community. We were able to accomplish our goal through interviews, a case study and observational research.
